Billy is owner and founder of Wilshar Steel and has over 30 years experience in the steel, construction, and storage industries. Wilshar is nationally known and recognized, recently ranking #2 in tonnage and #3 in total square footage developed in the United States.
With over 150 self storage projects under their design and installation, Wilshar is an innovator and premier consultant in self storage development, design, and construction.
In 2023 Wilshar launched Shade Caster, a new patented and trade marked product for Boat and RV storage facilities featuring premier designs for canopy storage. Billy and his team are the acting general contractors for Drop Yard Developments.

John has over 22 years of experience with JB Hunt working in transportation, logistics, and real estate site selection. In 2015 John retired from JB Hunt and has been focused exclusively on real estate development, including single family homes, farmland, private lending, and various other opportunistic investments. Most recently, with partners Matt Hartness and Sean Vollendorf, John began developing and acquiring boat and RV facilities. John provides developmental oversight for Drop Yard Developments and helps ensure optimal project execution and delivery.

Tom is a graduate of the University of Denver’s Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction management. Tom’s career began as a feasibility consultant where he analyzed over 100 unique storage developments across the country – assessing economic and construction feasibility. Since then, Tom and his team have developed over 500K SF of real estate, including self-storage projects in Western Arkansas and Central Texas. Tom utilizes his skill set in optimizing site selection for Drop Yard Developments, playing a large role in both acquisitions and further developmental oversight derived from his prior experience in project management.

Bronson is owner and founder of Alpha Storage Advisors, a self-storage development and management company. His background stems from over a decade of experience in investment banking and real estate private equity, where he focused on repositioning under-valued residential & commercial properties. His company currently has over 500K SF of self storage under management, and an impressive track record developing and advising premiere storage facilities across Arkansas and Missouri. Bronson and his team are responsible for operational management and various financial roles including underwriting and capital markets for Drop Yard Developments.
